No we can only accept VISA and MasterCard credit cards

Can I pay through online or telephone banking?

Yes, just sign in to your own account with one of the 5 National Canadian banks, add Brightspark as the payee and use your 6 digit reservation number as the account number.

How long does it take for you to get the money if I pay with online or telephone banking?

24-48 hours.

Can I call your office with my VISA or MasterCard?

No, for privacy and security reasons we cannot take credit card information over the phone.

How do I set up autopay?

Click the autopay button when making the online reservation and your future payments will be automatically paid.

How do I change a credit card on autopay?

You first need to “remove the autopay profile” in your profile. You can then add a new card.

Why do I have to pay my full balance 60 days prior to departure?

Brightspark must pay all our suppliers at that time and need to have full payment from all passengers in order to do so.

Can I pay smaller amounts more frequently?

Absolutely. As long as you pay the full amount required by the dates on your payment schedule, you can make as many small payments as you like.

Is my deposit refundable if I cancel my child?

No. As per the terms and conditions, all deposits are non refundable and non transferable.

Is my interim payment refundable if I cancel my child?

As long as the Brightspark receives your cancellation in writing before 60 days prior to departure, your interim payment is refundable.

Is my final payment refundable if I cancel my child?

No. As per the terms and conditions, all payments made within 60 days of travel are non refundable.

I won the $50.00 PIE certificate at the parent evening. When will this be applied to my child’s account?

This will be applied before your final payment.

If my child changes his/her mind and doesn’t want to go, will we get our money back through insurance?

No. The insurance is there to protect you in the event of a medical issue but does not cover a change in plans. Please click HERE for more information on the Travel Guard Platinum Coverage.

I have my own insurance. Do I have to buy the Brightspark insurance?

If the insurance for your program is optional; no, you do not. If the school board makes the Brightspark insurance mandatory and the cost is included in the program cost, you may not opt out of our insurance. Please note that our insurance does include coverage that no other insurance does. Please click HERE for coverage inclusions.
