Walk through Ottawa's history with your Tour Leader. You will be captivated by the stories and legends told by your Tour Leader highlighting Ottawa's rich history as our Nation's Capital. Stops will be made at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the National War Memorial.
Situated on a cliff overlooking the Ottawa River, the Parliament Buildings are historical monuments, architectural treasures, and an important national symbol cherished by all Canadians. It is within the walls of these buildings that Senators and Members of Parliament debate the important issues of the day, and make our nation's laws.
Skate through the heart of Ottawa! Glide 7.8km (4.8 miles) along the Rideau Canal Skateway, the longest skating rink in the world! NOTE: Skate rentals are available at an additional cost. Subject to weather conditions.

The ice sculptures created at Confederation Park are a highlight of Winterlude. Ice carvers from around the world turn blocks of ice into stunning works of art. At night, coloured lights reveal the magical beauty of the ice sculptures.
Experience the thrill of this vast Canadian Shield’s largest visited cave. With ice stalactites and stalagmites, the cave holds many surprises and discoveries during the winter season. Put on a helmet with a headlamp and follow your guide into the subterranean world to learn about the cave's 20,000 year history. After your visit, trek through the Laurentian forest on snowshoes, it is magical at this time of the year.
Lunch on your own at the Rideau Centre. With more than a dozen places to eat, the Rideau Centre has something for everyone. After lunch, the students may be permitted some time to explore the mall.
Drive along Sussex Drive, as your Tour Leader comments on points of interest including the residences of the Prime Minister and Governor General.
Snowflake Kingdom is the largest snow playground on the continent and offers huge snow slides, an ice maze and extraordinary snow sculptures. A sure place to visit during Winterlude.
Catch an Ottawa Senators hockey game at the Canadian Tire Centre (tickets subject to availability).
The Supreme Court of Canada has been Canada's highest court of appeal since 1949. This tour will familiarize you with the Canadian judicial system and how the decisions made by the Supreme Court Justices affect all Canadians. NOTE: The mock trial is subject to availability and is not guaranteed.
Time to have lunch on your own and explore one of Canada's oldest and largest public markets. The legendary builder of the Rideau Canal, Leiutenant Colonel John By, laid out the plan for the Market. Within its streets, you will find museums, cafés, specialty food shops, boutiques, restaurants and more.
