Day 1

Board your motor coach and depart

Participate in The Sparktacular Adventure!

Your specialized Tour Leader will lead the group through The Sparktacular Adventure! Students will have a great time as they work in teams to collect points by participating in challenges and activities at various attractions and locations throughout the tour. Let the adventures begin!
 

Full Dinner

Orientation Walk of Upper Town

On your first evening in Quebec City, experience the city as it was in the days of New France. This activity will be conducted by your Tour Leader.

 

Sliding on the Dufferin Terrasse - 3 rides

Whoosh down ice-covered tracks on a wooden toboggan over a distance on 250 meters. Les Glissades de la Terrasse was built more than 100 years ago and was one of the first rides of its kind anywhere in the world.

Guided Tour at Forts-et-Châteaux-Saint-Louis

Revisit the past in the company of an interpreter-guide and, little by little, the secrets of the four forts and two Châteaux-Saint-Louis will be revealed as you discover the lifestyle of French and British governors who inhabited the sites.
 

Sound and light presentation at Musee du Fort

The Musee du Fort takes you on an extraordinary journey in time with a sound and light show that recounts the military history of Quebec City. A giant model helps bring the story alive with the help of some spectacular special effects. You will gradually come to understand how the geography of the area around Quebec City shaped the military strategies of the time. Following the show, you will take part in our very popular interactive game and have the chance to win a prize!
 

Lunch

Soldier of the Martello Tower

Accompanied by British officers, learn all about the conditions of the soldiers living in the Martello Towers. Soldier of the Tower will introduce you to the 1812 military lifestyle through competitions and games. 
 

Carnaval de Quebec- Effigy pass

Explore old Quebec during Carnaval!  This winter celebration has been going on for over 100 years with its first celebration dating back to 1894. Groups can explore the grounds and partake in all of the games and activities that Carnaval has to offer. Be sure to get a photo with the mascot of the festival: Bonhomme Carnaval.
 

French Canadian Dinner at Erabliere du Lac Beauport

Enjoy a traditional sugar shack meal followed by folk music, dancing and maple taffy served on snow.  You will also visit the maple sugar museum and the trapper camp - an interpretation centre about the wildlife in Quebec.

Day 3

Beaupre Coast Driving Tour

Board your motor coach and depart for the Beaupre Coast. En route your Tour Leader conducts a driving tour of the Beaupre Coast. In this rural area of Quebec, you will see the seigneurial system first hand.

Self-guided visit of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupre Basilica

Every year hundreds of thousands of tourists and pilgrims visit this impressive Romanesque cathedral, which has five naves, magnificent mosaics and 240 stained glass panels.  
 

Bread and maple butter at Chez Marie

In a stone dwelling dating back to 1652 treat yourself to delicious fresh bread baked daily in a 150-year-old oven.

Visit Montmorency Falls

Stop at one of the most spectacular natural wonders of the Beaupre Coast. Make sure to take a breathtaking picture from the middle of the bridge spanning the top of the falls!
 

Lunch

Old Quebec Exploration

Opportunity to explore Old Quebec in small groups. Visit rue du Tresor, the street of artists, and the many shops and boutiques.
 

Village Vacances Valcartier - Snow Park

Passport access to all activities at Valcartier Village! Snow tube down your choice of 42 different snow slides or raft downhill with a group a friends. Be sure to test your courage on the 110 foot tall Everest!

After receiving $15 cash for dinner, the group has the opportunity to make their own arrangements.
