Mental health awareness is a difficult but important discussion to have in the classroom. 1 in 5 young people in Ontario suffer from some form of mental health problem, and 5 out of those 6 kids will not receive the treatment they need. source

Bell's #LetsTalk Day was created to offer a safe space for people with mental health issues and is working to break down the stigma attached to these illnesses. Establishing an open classroom will help students with mental health issues to feel safe and get the help they need.
